What sets this area apart

Abu Fatira plots feature uneven terrain and foundations at varying depths, resulting in retaining walls and deep excavations. Shotcrete provides a tight protective layer on exposed rock and soil surfaces, protecting foundations from groundwater seepage and weather exposure. Instead of building complex wooden formwork on sloped terrain, we spray concrete directly onto the prepared surface, reducing waste and accelerating execution on irregular topography.

Abu Fatira is located in Mubarak Al-Kabeer governorate, a residential area with varied terrain and deep foundations.

Retaining walls in Abu Fatira can reach heights exceeding 3 metres, requiring layered shotcrete at graduated thickness.

What we spray - Shotcrete

What we spray

Shotcrete suits any surface that cannot be cast with conventional pour and formwork methods.

  • Excavation retaining walls

Stabilising excavation faces and stopping soil collapse in high-groundwater coastal sites.

  • Existing foundation strengthening

Adding a sprayed layer over exposed or deteriorated footings to restore load capacity.

  • Basement wall lining

Forming a dense pressure-resistant lining on basement walls against groundwater ingress.

  • Deteriorated concrete repair

Filling voids and spalled sections in columns and beams with compacted sprayed layers.

  • Curved surfaces and domes

Covering curved architectural forms that standard timber or steel formwork cannot follow.

  • Pools and water tanks

Forming pool shells and tank walls with dense, low-permeability sprayed concrete.

How it works.

  1. First contact

Call or WhatsApp us describing the surface type, location and visible problem.

  2. Site visit

Our engineer inspects the surface, measures area and checks rebar condition.

  3. Surface preparation

Spalled sections cut back, rebar cleaned and surface high-pressure washed before spraying.

  4. Shotcrete application

Concrete is sprayed in successive passes to build up the specified layer thickness.

  5. Curing and handover

The sprayed layer is kept moist under cover until full strength gain before handover.

Questions about Shotcrete in Abu Fatira

Call now
How does shotcrete protect foundations from groundwater seepage?

We apply multiple layers of shotcrete with a total thickness of 10 to 15 centimetres over exposed rock surfaces. The concrete, compacted by spray pressure, forms a tight waterproof layer that prevents water seepage through cracks and pores.

Can shotcrete be applied to steeply sloped walls at sharp angles?

Yes, but we need to install a reinforcing mesh grid to anchor the concrete to the slope. We start with a light initial spray coat for bonding, then add additional layers after the previous coat sets.
