What sets this area apart

Wafra is a rural district of villas built on very large plots (50 metres and more) and agricultural stores and grain silos. Rural buildings are usually low-rise (one to two storeys) but roofs and walls are thick (40 to 60 centimetres) to withstand harsh climate swings near the Saudi border. The damp, saline soil in the area requires extra concrete protection. When cutting agricultural stores, we open ventilation and irrigation apertures carefully to prevent water or salt ingress inside.

Wafra lies in Ahmadi governorate, a rural and farming community near the Saudi border.

Agricultural store roofs and walls in Wafra are 40 to 60 centimetres thick to withstand harsh climate variations.

Questions about Concrete cutting in Wafra

Call now
How do you handle damp and saline soil when cutting near lower levels?

We use water saws with special filters to remove salts from the water before recycling. After cutting, we apply moisture barriers to new apertures to prevent salt and groundwater ingress.

Can you cut agricultural store walls without compromising their structure?

Yes, as long as we preserve sufficient wall thickness. We use diamond wire to open ventilation and irrigation apertures, and leave a minimum 10-centimetre margin around each opening to ensure wall stability.
