What sets this area apart

Abu Halifa is a diverse residential district with villas, apartment buildings and small commercial annexes around its Co-operative, on medium-sized plots. Buildings vary in age and specification, some dating to the 1980s and 90s, others built in the past decade. Concrete cutting requires assessing the building and concrete condition first, then checking original drawings to identify rebar and load-bearing walls. We focus on opening passages for new service runs and modifying side walls without affecting main columns.

Abu Halifa is in Ahmadi governorate, near Ahmadi Town and the local Co-operative.

Most buildings in Abu Halifa were poured by hand or field methods, requiring material inspection and tool adjustment based on concrete density.

Questions about Concrete cutting in Abu Halifa

Call now
Do you cut concrete in buildings 30 years old or older?

Yes, but with extra caution. We test concrete strength with a rebound hammer first and adjust cutting speed to prevent cracking. Older concrete needs frequent cooling and rest breaks during cutting.

Can you cut a concrete column to open a passage or door?

Main columns cannot be cut without written approval from a licensed structural engineer authorizing the cut and specifying reinforcement requirements. We require a bracing plan before starting and periodic inspection during work.
