What sets this area apart

Farwaniya farm plots are expansive and typically run 100 to 150 metres deep, with soil mixing sand, clay and sometimes small rocks near the surface. The wall must resist water seepage from inside the plot and soil creep from outside, especially during intensive irrigation seasons. We dig footings 60 to 80 centimetres deep to pass below unstable soil layers, and install drainage holes every 5 metres to prevent water pooling behind the wall.

Farwaniya sits in Farwaniya governorate, a sprawling agricultural district with large plots spread along the Third Ring Road.

Farm wall footings in Farwaniya are dug 60 to 80 centimetres deep to clear unstable sandy soil layers.

Questions about Farm wall construction in Farwaniya

Call now
How do you handle water seepage behind the wall during irrigation season?

We install horizontal drainage holes every 5 metres at footing level and use gravel and sand layers behind the wall to direct water toward drainage. We also check the ground level before pouring to ensure a gentle slope away from the wall.

Does the wall withstand mechanical loads from farm equipment?

The farm wall is a boundary barrier, not a load-bearing structure. We build it 30 centimetres thick in brick and cement to resist soil pressure and wind, but it is not designed to support heavy equipment. If loads from machinery are expected, we consult the engineer before work begins.
