What sets this area apart

Abdullah Al-Salem plots are medium-sized and reasonably deep, situated on sandy soil with solid calcareous layers starting at two to two-point-five metres depth. Excavation to foundation depth is usually straightforward through upper layers, but penetrating limestone requires specialised equipment. After cleaning the excavation base of loose soil, we apply compacted backfill layers with precise grading and test density at each level.

Abdullah Al-Salem sits in the Capital governorate, near the British Embassy and main thoroughfares.

Calcareous soil layers in Abdullah Al-Salem begin at two to two-point-five metres below ground surface.

Questions about Excavation, backfill & grading in Abdullah Al-Salem

Call now
Can the foundation be excavated deep into calcareous layers?

Yes, but it requires initial engineering assessment. If the design allows, we use heavy-duty specialised excavation equipment and test limestone bearing capacity before foundation pour.

How do you prevent sand soil from settling after backfill?

We test sand moisture content and apply regular mechanical compaction for each 30-centimetre layer. We then wait at least one week before foundation pour to allow final settlement.
