Interior wall building in Kuwait - Kuwait City

Interior wall building in Kuwait City

Straight interior block walls in Kuwait City require careful base preparation and moisture testing before laying, since the mix of older and newer buildings means varying floor types and structural conditions. We build walls within one millimetre deviation per metre, ensuring alignment with the design grid for finishing surfaces.

What sets this area apart

Kuwait City has a mix of government, residential, commercial and office buildings, ranging from simple apartment blocks of three or four storeys to office towers and hotels of ten storeys and more. The floor slabs vary: poured concrete of different thicknesses, sloped finishes in bathrooms and kitchens for drainage, and in older buildings there may be rising moisture from the base. Before laying any interior wall, we test moisture levels with specialised meters, prepare the floor surface by cleaning and levelling, and build the wall in standard-thickness block with consistent joint and mortar throughout.

Kuwait City lies in the Capital governorate, where government, central and mixed-use buildings are densely packed in a limited area between the Gulf and the railway corridor.

Interior walls of standard 10 cm or 12 cm thickness are laid with regular horizontal courses and vertical chases reserved for electrical and plumbing runs.

Questions about Interior wall building in Kuwait City

Call now
How do you handle moisture in older buildings before laying an interior wall?

We measure floor and adjacent wall moisture with a moisture meter, and if levels exceed the acceptable threshold, we apply a moisture barrier as a bituminous or liquid coating before laying the wall.

Can you leave vertical chases in the wall as it is built for service runs?

Yes, we leave regular vertical chases in line with the project design for electrical and plumbing runs, coordinating their layout with the site engineer before laying begins.
