What sets this area apart

Fintas coastal residential plots range from 500 to 800 square metres, mostly modern or mid-age villas designed to capture sea views. A two-storey annex in this coastal area requires special waterproofing and salt and humidity protection, as the marine environment accelerates concrete and steel corrosion. We use sulphate-resistant cement, horizontal slabs with clear drainage gaps, and coat all reinforcement with thick protective layers. We also consider wind direction and humidity when planning window and ventilation openings.

Fintas is in Ahmadi governorate, a coastal residential neighbourhood near the co-op and beach with modern buildings and sea views.

Coastal drainage and airborne salt require annual steel and concrete inspection to prevent surface spalling.

Questions about Two-storey annex in Fintas

Call now
How do you protect the annex from coastal salt and moisture?

We use sulphate-resistant cement and reinforcement coated with thick paint layers. Every concrete surface is sealed with a waterproof thermal barrier, and potential gaps and cracks are sealed before construction completion.

Do salt and humidity affect construction speed or the pouring method?

Yes, we minimize exposure to coastal air and use concrete mix enhanced with mineral additives. Pouring is slightly slower to allow better curing and control concrete shrinkage.
