What sets this area apart

Hawalli Midan is a traditional mixed district of old villas, shops and small offices on medium to narrow plots. Old villas have flat roofs and ordinary brick walls with no original insulation, and shops have large glass facades opening directly to the street. Old AC systems and leakage around windows and tall old openings drive up bills. We apply mineral-wool insulation to roofs and walls from inside where possible, and fit thermal breaks to window and shop-door frames.

Hawalli Midan lies in Hawalli governorate, a district of traditional marketplace and old shops mixed with residential villas.

We insulate flat roofs and old brick walls with no original insulation from inside or outside based on access and building use.

Questions about Thermal insulation in Hawalli Midan

Call now
The old shop with a large glass facade open to the street, how do you insulate it?

Large glass is a challenge. We fit thermal breaks in the window or door frame and recommend exterior solar shades or dual-pane insulating glass if possible. If the shop is closed or a storage space, we also insulate the interior walls.

The old villa here is ordinary brick with a flat roof and no original insulation, where should I start?

Start with the roof, it is the largest heat-leak source. Apply mineral wool or foam insulation to the roof from above or below based on access. Next, insulate the exterior walls from inside with insulation boards or foam, then upgrade window frames with thermal breaks.
