Yes, we attach insulation directly to the existing ceiling then cover it with a thin gypsum layer. This reduces ceiling height by only 10 to 15 cm.

No, double glazing maintains visibility and natural light at the same level as ordinary glass. The air gap between panes and insulation does not affect lighting.
