Yes, strongly. We apply very strong dust- and moisture-resistant sealants after installation and use high thresholds at entries to isolate outside dust. Granite is far better for these environments because it is harder and absorbs less.
What granite thickness is suitable for office and corridor floors in large warehouses?
We use at least 1.25 centimetre granite, and in shared corridors with heavy equipment movement, we may use thicker material. We discuss expected movement and loads with the project owner before selection.
