What sets this area apart

Hateen is a medium-density residential area with detached villas and apartment buildings on fairly spaced plots. The soil here is sandy with a lower limestone layer, and surface drainage is limited during the rainy season. When building a public or commercial landscape, we excavate to remove the hard limestone layer, create a slope toward a collection pit or seepage system, and install drip irrigation with reliable pump stations since manual watering is impractical for larger areas.

Hateen sits in Hawalli governorate, a residential area with sandy soil and a lower limestone layer requiring special treatment.

We remove the hard limestone layer to a depth of 60 to 90 centimetres before installing fertile soil and irrigation piping.

Questions about Public & commercial landscaping in Hateen

Call now
Is the sandy soil in Hateen suitable for direct grass and plant planting?

No, sandy soil alone does not retain moisture and nutrients. We import mixed fertile soil and create a base layer of coarse sand and gravel for drainage, then place the fertile soil on top to ensure healthy growth.

How do you handle the hard limestone layer beneath the soil?

We use heavy excavation equipment to break or remove the limestone layer, then backfill with coarse gravel and sand for drainage. This allows excess water to seep away and prevents pooling beneath plant roots.
