What sets this area apart

Adan's residential buildings cluster on medium-sized plots with heights of 3 to 5 storeys, with external walls affected by dampness, salinity and weather over many years. Renovation requires checking foundations and load-bearing walls for cracks and leaks, replacing corroded concrete and steel sections, and treating rising damp from the soil. Lower-storey floors need demolition and re-pouring after moisture control, and internal drainage pipes must be inspected, cleaned or replaced if clogged with sediment and debris.

Adan is in Mubarak Al-Kabeer governorate, a closely built residential area near the waterfront and key healthcare facilities.

Most Adan buildings are built on concrete piles or shallow foundations on damp soil, requiring additional waterproofing during renovation.

Questions about Building renovation in Adan

Call now
What steps do you take to address rising damp from the ground?

We remove damaged flooring, expose and drain the underlying soil with lateral drainage pipes, apply bituminous or polymeric waterproofing to the exposed surface, then re-pour the floor with marble or ceramic after complete drying.

Does renovation include replacing old drainage pipes inside the building?

Yes, if old pipes are clogged or cracked. We inspect them with a camera, and if needed we remove sections of flooring and walls to extract old pipes and run new drainage with approved diameters.
