What sets this area apart

Abu Hasaniya is a seaside residential villa area with older two-storey buildings and newer three-storey or taller structures on generous plots. Older villas often suffer moisture seepage from foundation bases and external walls, requiring additional waterproofing and ventilation behind the metal frame. Newer villas may experience uneven soil settlement causing cracks in interior walls, especially at ceilings and corners. We use rust-resistant metal framing with reinforced gauge, moisture-resistant gypsum board and apply full structural isolation between the load-bearing frame and interior partitions.

Abu Hasaniya is in Mubarak Al-Kabeer governorate on the southern coast, where walls face high humidity and soil seepage.

We isolate interior walls from the structural frame with a minimum 20 mm gap to reduce movement and crack transfer.

Questions about Gypsum walls in Abu Hasaniya

Call now
How do we handle moisture seepage from old foundations?

We apply polyethylene barrier behind the metal frame and above the foundation base, leaving natural ventilation between the barrier and boards. This allows seeping moisture to dry without reaching the gypsum.

Why do cracks appear in new villa walls?

Uneven soil settlement transfers movement from the structural frame to walls. By isolating interior walls from foundations and columns, we allow flexible movement without board cracking.
