What sets this area apart

Jaber Al-Ali is a planned residential district with nearly identical plots and standardized villa designs in rows. Villas feature narrow corridors, shared interior facilities and small rear yards, meaning indoor surfaces see very high moisture movement especially in kitchens and bathrooms. The small external patios also require quick-draining materials and wide joints to handle seasonal soil movement under the local fine sand base.

Jaber Al-Ali is located in Ahmadi governorate, a planned residential district of villas laid out in an organized grid pattern.

We apply a moisture barrier layer before laying indoor tiles in bathrooms and kitchens.

Questions about Ceramic & porcelain tiling in Jaber Al-Ali

Call now
What type of moisture barrier do we use for indoor bathroom and kitchen floors?

We apply polyethylene or liquid polyurethane barriers covering the entire surface and joints. This prevents water seepage into concrete and adjacent walls and protects the structure from accumulated moisture.

Are narrow grout joints enough in close-packed villa rows?

No, narrow joints in these close-packed villas require frequent maintenance because seasonal movement stresses them heavily. We use joints 4 to 5 millimetres wide with flexible grout that allows movement.
