What sets this area apart

Dajeej is a developing area on the desert fringe with modern villas and building plots under construction, featuring large indoor and outdoor floors. Extreme heat and seasonal swings demand careful matching of thermal expansion coefficients between tile and screed, since mismatch causes cracking and debonding. Outdoor tiles face direct sunlight, so we use cement-modified adhesives with sand and acrylic additives to absorb expansion, with proper movement joints between tiles.

Dajeej lies in Farwaniya governorate, in a developing desert-fringe area on Kuwait's outskirts.

We leave four-millimetre expansion joints between outdoor tiles to absorb thermal expansion in hot weather.

Questions about Ceramic & porcelain tiling in Dajeej

Call now
Why does new outdoor tiling come loose in summer after a few months?

Tiles expand under direct sunlight, and old or unsuitable screed cannot absorb that expansion. We match the screed to the tile, leave adequate expansion joints, and use acrylic-modified adhesive.

Is grey or brown tile better for hot outdoor spaces?

Colour affects heat absorption only. We select tiles with low thermal expansion coefficient regardless of colour. Lighter tiles absorb less heat, but if the expansion coefficient is wrong, even light tiles will loosen.
