What sets this area apart

Yarmouk is an older residential neighbourhood with apartment blocks of 4 to 6 storeys and older villas on plots of 400 to 600 square metres. Most of these buildings need window and door frame replacement because older aluminium has corroded from salt and dust exposure. During renovation, we specify aluminium frames 50 mm thick with double-glazed insulating glass, and ensure frames are anchored to bearing walls with metal fasteners, not adhesive alone.

Yarmouk lies in the Capital governorate, an older residential area where apartment blocks and villas require window and door frame upgrades.

We specify aluminium frames at least 50 mm thick to withstand the climate and salt exposure in older residential zones.

Questions about Aluminium & glass in Yarmouk

Call now
Can new aluminium frames be fitted to old walls without reinforcement?

We inspect the bearing walls first. If sound and strong, we anchor frames with 8 mm metal fasteners spaced no more than 600 mm apart. For weak walls, we add metal angle brackets or concrete reinforcement around large window openings.

Is double-glazed insulating glass necessary in Yarmouk or is single glass enough?

Double-glazed glass is strongly recommended here. Summer temperatures exceed 50°C, and insulating glass significantly reduces heat gain, lowering cooling load and running costs. Single glass does not provide this protection.
