What sets this area apart

Dajeej is a desert-fringe zone in Farwaniya with detached villas and large scattered plots at varying heights. The sandy soil is poor, so water penetrates easily rather than pooling on the surface, threatening building foundations. We design drainage with lined trenches using polyethylene or permeable concrete to collect water before seepage, with isolated open channels per plot sloping to municipality-approved collection points.

Dajeej sits in Farwaniya governorate at the desert fringe with sandy soil and uneven elevations.

Drainage channels in Dajeej need at least 1 metre depth to reach more stable soil layers.

Questions about Storm-water drainage in Dajeej

Call now
Why do two adjacent villa plots need separate drainage channels?

Each plot has a different elevation, so water must flow naturally toward each plot's collection point. Mixing channels causes local flooding and subsidence in sandy soil.

Do polyethylene liners withstand desert heat and UV exposure?

We use UV-resistant liners at least 1.5 mm thick and lay a protective sand layer over them. However, we test liners every two years to check for cracking.
