What sets this area apart

A semi-modern suburban development with detached villas and apartment blocks on regular plots, and public sewerage recently laid in main streets. Most plots require a run of 25 to 60 metres, and some sit higher than street level requiring a sump pump if the pit is deeper than the public chamber. We check line slope and horizontal distance in detail with the engineer before purchasing pipes.

Jaber Al-Ali is in Ahmadi governorate, a developed residential area on defined plots.

The street junctions in Jaber Al-Ali average about 90 metres apart.

Questions about Municipal sewer connection in Jaber Al-Ali

Call now
If the pit is deeper than the public chamber, do we need an extra pump?

Yes. We install a submersible pump in a separate pit or pump house nearby, and run smaller-diameter pipes to the public chamber. This prevents wastewater backing up in the main pit.

How long does the hydrostatic test take before connecting the old pipes?

It takes 4 to 6 hours depending on line length. We fill the pipe with water and monitor it for at least one hour, then drain and inspect joints before final connection.
