What sets this area apart

Eqaila is a mixed zone with residential blocks of 3 to 5 storeys and two-storey villas on moderate-depth plots. Villas need independent drain lines from each unit to the tank or public network, while blocks require a central drain stack piercing several floors. Plastic water pipes run through gaps between columns at low angles to avoid air locks, and we use metal clamps every 50 centimetres minimum.

Eqaila sits in Ahmadi governorate near Al Kout Mall, a residential zone serving residents from different income groups.

Main drain pipes for multi-storey residential blocks must be at least 10 centimetres in diameter.

Questions about First-fix plumbing, new houses in Eqaila

Call now
How do you handle drainage from an independent villa disconnected from the public network?

We run an independent drain line from all fixture points (bathroom, kitchen, yard) to a septic tank or absorption well dug on the plot. The line must slope uniformly, and we keep pipes clear of any foundations or tanks.

Are plastic or copper pipes better for hot water lines?

Copper is better because it handles high temperatures and does not expand like plastic. But reinforced plastic (PEX) works if temperature is controlled. We choose the type based on drawing specifications and supervisor approval.
