  • Drain snake unblocking

Flexible cable reaches partial blockages with minimal disruption to tiles.

  • Drain line inspection

Locates exact blockage point before choosing the correct clearing method.

Signs your drains need clearing

  1. Persistently slow drainage

Water pools in the sink or shower tray and drains very slowly after every use.

  2. Foul smell from floor drains

Sewer odour rises from floor drains, especially in the kitchen or ground-floor bathroom.

  3. Water rises when another fixture drains

Running the washing machine or sink causes water to rise in a nearby floor drain.

  4. Gurgling after flushing

A gurgling sound appears in the toilet or drain immediately after a nearby basin empties.

Mistakes that make blockages worse

  1. Pouring concentrated chemical cleaners

Caustic chemicals corrode uPVC joints yet leave the deep blockage untouched.

  2. Ignoring pipe fall after reinstatement

Relaying drain pipes without adequate slope brings the blockage back within weeks.

  3. Using an undersized snake

A thin manual snake pierces the blockage without removing it, so it returns quickly.

  4. Skipping a flush test after clearing

Closing the drain cover without a flow test hides partial blockages that remain downstream.

Inside drain unclogging.

How drain unblocking is done right in Kuwait

The first step is locating the blockage before selecting a tool. A grease build-up near the kitchen trap behaves differently from a hair and soap mass in a bathroom p-trap, and both differ from fine-sand accumulation in a buried horizontal run. An initial check determines whether the blockage is partial or full, and whether it sits in the trap or further along the concealed pipe.

Deep or solid blockages require either high-pressure jetting or a motorised machine. Jetting scours the pipe wall and dislodges the mineral scale that Kuwait's hard water deposits over time, while a rotating machine head cuts through compacted material. After clearing, the line is tested by running consecutive volumes of water to confirm full flow and no residual sluggishness at any fixture on the same run.

In Kuwaiti homes, drain pipes run hidden under tiled floors or inside plastered walls, so a deep blockage often shows up late. If a blockage returns quickly after clearing, this signals a slope problem or pipe damage that needs inspection and repair rather than repeated clearing. Combining line unblocking with a pipe condition check ensures the owner does not face the same fault again within a short period.

What goes wrong with most plumbing.

Plumbing problems start hidden and end with breaking tiles. These three cost the most.

  1. 01

    Pipes laid in a rush

Pipework rushed before the walls close stays hidden until it starts to leak.

  2. 02

    Leaks you cannot see

A slow leak behind tiles shows up as damp, stains and a higher water bill.

  3. 03

    Nobody answers in an emergency

A burst pipe at night cannot wait for a contractor who has moved on.

The solution?

Pipework, leak detection and maintenance from one licensed company.

  1. Water and drain pipes inside a wall before tiling
    Pipes laid in a rush

    First-fix plumbing by the builder

Laid as part of the build, before the walls close.

  2. A moisture meter beside a tiled wall
    Leaks you cannot see

    Water leak detection

    We find the source first.

  3. A utility room with a new water heater and pump
    Nobody answers in an emergency

    24-hour emergency plumber

Plus regular maintenance contracts after handover.

How it works.

  1. Call or whatsApp

Describe the blockage location and symptoms so the right team is dispatched.

  2. Initial inspection

Technician locates the blockage and its severity before selecting a tool.

  3. Clearing the drain

Correct method applied: snake, motorised machine or high-pressure jet.

  4. Flow test

Consecutive water volumes confirm full and unobstructed drain flow.

  5. Report and advice

Owner informed of the blockage cause and any follow-up issues found.

What sets the price.

The cost depends on where the blockage sits, how deep it is and which method clears it.

Get a quote
  1. Blockage location and depth

A blockage deep in a buried run takes more time than a trap-level fault.

  2. Clearing method required

High-pressure jetting and machine clearing cost more than manual snaking.

  3. Number of drain points

Clearing multiple drain points in one visit affects the total price.

  4. Call-out timing

Urgent night or holiday call-outs are priced differently from scheduled visits.

  5. Repair works needed

Damaged pipes or wrong-slope runs found during clearing add repair costs.

Why one contractor beats four.

Every extra contractor means another schedule and another excuse. With us, one company answers for all of it.

  1. Turnkey

Shell and finishing with one company, from footings to keys.

  2. Pay in instalments

Construction and finishing on instalments. Ask us for the details.

  3. Engineering supervision

Architectural drawings and engineering supervision on site.

  4. After handover

Maintenance contracts and a 24-hour emergency plumber.

Questions, answered.

Can drains be cleared without breaking the tiles?

In most cases yes. Snaking, machine clearing and jetting all work through existing drain openings. Breaking tiles is only needed if the pipe itself is damaged and requires physical repair.

Why does the blockage come back so quickly after clearing?

The most common reason is insufficient slope on a horizontal drain run, or internal pipe damage that traps debris again. Clearing alone cannot fix a slope problem or a cracked pipe; those need repair.

Does Kuwait's hard water cause drain blockages?

Hard water leaves mineral deposits on drain walls, gradually narrowing the pipe bore. This is most noticeable in horizontal runs connected to hot water heaters, where scale builds faster.

What is the difference between jetting and machine unblocking?

Jetting cleans the full pipe wall and suits mineral scale and long drain runs. A motorised machine cuts through solid compacted blockages. The two methods are sometimes combined on the same job.

Do you clear external main drain lines outside the building?

Yes, we work on external drain runs from inspection chambers and manholes up to the public sewer connection point.

Does drain unblocking differ between old and new houses?

Older houses may have galvanised iron drain pipes that have corroded internally, narrowing the bore and making blockages harder to clear and more frequent than in modern uPVC systems.
