What sets this area apart

Shuhada consists of modern residential blocks of 5 to 7 floors on plots ranging from 600 to 1200 square metres, with relatively uniform architectural designs. Most of these buildings follow current building standards and include underground or semi-sunken car parks. Excavation and shoring for these parks require careful groundwater monitoring and effective drainage while foundations remain in place. Adjacent, closely spaced plots require organized scaffolding, protection, and daily coordination with the site engineer.

Shuhada district is located in Hawalli governorate, an organized residential neighbourhood of closely built modern blocks and service zones.

Most underground car parks in Shuhada require excavation depth of at least 3 metres with drainage systems separate from the foundations.

Questions about Shell (grey structure) construction in Shuhada

Call now
How do you handle underground car parks in areas with high groundwater?

We assess groundwater level with site testing, then design a separate drainage system around park walls that diverts water away from foundations. We also apply treated waterproofing to all underground surfaces.

Can upper floors be poured while the underground park is still being shored, or must you wait for park completion?

The park must be complete and drainage verified before pouring the ground floor slab. After that, upper floors can proceed on a separate schedule while respecting loads on retaining walls.
