What sets this area apart

Uyoun plots are medium-sized, from 600 to 1200 square metres, and hold residential villas and small commercial buildings. The soil here is very fine sand and groundwater may appear at 1.5 to 2 metres depth in winter. That means excavation may require dewatering by pumping to dry the base, and backfill must sit above the groundwater level with a safe margin. We grade the site and backfill in layers with continuous monitoring of moisture and side seepage.

Uyoun lies in Jahra governorate, a residential area near the natural Uyoun springs where groundwater is close to the surface.

Groundwater level in Uyoun fluctuates between 1.5 and 2.5 metres below surface depending on season, requiring hydrogeological survey before deep excavation.

Questions about Excavation, backfill & grading in Uyoun

Call now
What do you do if groundwater appears during excavation?

We pause excavation and place pumps to dewater the excavation base. We monitor water level daily and install permanent or temporary dewatering based on foundation depth requirements to ensure the base stays dry and stable.

Can construction proceed in Uyoun during winter when groundwater rises?

Yes, but we need careful hydrogeological survey and a tight dewatering plan. We raise the backfill level above groundwater with a safe margin and schedule deep foundation excavation during lower-moisture periods when possible.
