The area sits in a relative low zone requiring special attention to internal and external drainage. We begin with deep comprehensive excavation and complete removal of any wet layers, then backfill good soil with uniform compaction. We install perimeter drainage pipes around the foundation and slope the surface away from the plot to prevent water pooling. On completion we lay a finished layer of graded gravel to improve surface drainage.
