What sets this area apart

Sharq is an upscale residential area combining large villas and apartment buildings on plots ranging from two to five thousand square metres, and proximity to Sharq Marina means direct exposure to salt spray and seasonal moisture. Walls here need extra moisture and salt barriers at the foundation base and on the surface itself. Most Sharq plots have significant depth and clear side boundaries, allowing us to design gates with higher finish standards and install double-sealed metal frames.

Sharq sits in the Capital near Kuwait Towers, Sharq Marina and the National Bank head office.

Coastal wall foundations in Sharq must reach at least two metres depth with reinforcement protected by dense concrete cover against chloride penetration.

Questions about Boundary walls & gates in Sharq

Call now
How do you protect a wall from salt spray and moisture near the sea?

We use sulphate-resistant cement and apply a thick bituminous waterproofing layer on the outer face and lower half of the body. The foundation must be deep and reinforced at closer spacing to reduce water and salt penetration.

Can a decorative iron gate be installed on a wide plot with a garden?

Yes, and it is common in Sharq. We design the gate at a height proportional to the wall on strong hidden concrete columns within the structure, with clear expansion joints to accommodate seasonal ground movement.
