What sets this area apart

Abu Hasaniya is a zone of large sea-facing villas with sand soil mixed with salt and mineral crusts from sea spray. Sea winds are strong and carry saline mist that deposits on leaves and soil, causing osmotic stress and erosion. When installing natural turf, we add thick layers of agricultural soil blended with premium compost to insulate roots from baseline salinity. We select grass species fully tolerant of salt, such as specialised coastal grasses. Deep spray irrigation helps periodically flush salt from the surface.

Abu Hasaniya is in Mubarak Al-Kabeer governorate, a coastal residential zone of spacious sea-facing villas overlooking the Persian Gulf.

Abu Hasaniya's coastal soil contains salt concentration of 0.5 to 1 per cent by weight, roughly 10 times higher than typical inland soil.

Questions about Natural turf installation in Abu Hasaniya

Call now
Do sea winds damage natural turf in Abu Hasaniya?

Yes, salt in sea spray burns foliage and roots. We select fully salt-resistant coastal grasses and build plant barriers or low walls on seaward boundaries to buffer wind force.

Can seawater be used to irrigate natural turf instead of fresh water?

No. Seawater carries excessive salt that kills turf rapidly. Only fresh or low-salinity desalinated water should be used. Fresh watering also helps flush accumulated salt from soil.
