What sets this area apart

Abdali is a farming and residential zone with very large plots and buildings scattered across distances of several kilometres. Each farm or house relies on a private well and elevated storage tank, as centralised municipal services are too distant. The soil is arid sand with thick lime layers, meaning well drilling requires specialist equipment and may reach depths beyond 150 metres. Drainage lines need careful design because absorption in sandy soil is poor, and we may use lined sumps with pumps and recycling.

Abdali is in Jahra governorate near the Iraqi border, a farming area with large plots and very deep wells.

Abdali artesian wells often exceed 150 metres depth and require high-horsepower submersible pumps for lifting.

Questions about Plumbing & installations in Abdali

Call now
Do very deep wells need regular maintenance?

Yes, deep wells require annual inspection of the pump, pipes, and available water volume. Sand may enter the pipe and clog perforations, so we perform periodic flushing and replace pump parts as needed.

How do we design a drainage system in sand with poor absorption?

We use a sump of adequate capacity with a sealed floor to limit seepage, and may install a pump to lift collected water away from the site or recirculate it for irrigation.
